Multisensory Architecture and the new frontiers of Health Design

Multisensory Architecture and the New Frontiers of Health Design

In our last article we told you about the flagship innovative project we are working on, namely our Zepverse, the unique metaverse that promotes Made in Italy Design and Green Technology.

In parallel with Goldelite, we are continuing to pursue research and development in our design line, and now we would like to bring you up to date on one of the latest innovative products we have created, this time in the field of synaesthetic lighting.

SYNESTESIA: the new synaesthetic lighting design concept

In collaboration with Lantana and Indigo Technologies and with Professor Flaviano Celaschi of the University of Bologna, as part of Elisabetta Veronesi’s degree thesis in industrial design, which we supervised as co-rapporteurs and host company, we developed a new design product for catering.

This time it is a specialised design of the synaesthetic type, i.e. capable of simultaneously stimulating the 5 senses and allowing a high immersive impact experience.

It is in this context that we have created our SYNESTESIA, a synaesthetic table lamp designed for catering environments, but which we are also studying for other sectors such as medical, health and beauty.

SYNESTESIA was designed with customised stylistic choices based on our first selected premium user. In fact, we chose Chef Pietro Leemann’s Joia restaurant in Milan, the first European vegetarian Haute Cuisine restaurant to receive a Michelin star, and which therefore represents, in Italy and abroad, a flagship for a sustainable and cruelty-free gastronomic experience, inspired by the millenary knowledge of Ayurvedic science.

In the sphere of culinary-themed synaesthesia, the design product we have created represents a major innovation, capable of significantly enhancing the multi-sensory dining experience.

It combines cutting-edge technology with Goldèlite’s nanotechnological, antibacterial, virucidal and fungicidal material.

The lamp diffuses aromas, via ultrasound or nebuliser, and is capable of capturing the sounds of chewing and transforming them into light and sound effects, enhancing the customer’s immersive experience with unique, highly emotional atmospheres.

SYNESTESIA allows an important aesthetic and functional experience, amplifying the culinary experience with sounds, aromas and colours, but not only.

Indeed, recent studies and scientific validations attest to the extent to which Synaesthetic Design can contribute decisively to the quality of the environment, and thus also to improving our health, with achievements unthinkable even just a few years ago.

Innovations in the field of Synaesthetic and Health Design

We are continuing to work on developing the new frontiers of design, one that is not limited to aesthetics and functionality, but also aims to create environments that contribute to health and improved quality of life.

The synaesthetic Design we realise goes precisely in this direction through the simultaneous stimulation of all five senses, enabling memorable wellness experiences.

After SYNESTESIA, we are planning new applications of multi-sensory Design in other sectors besides the restaurant industry, such as in hospitality, commercial, home, work and medical environments.

Lights, colours, sounds, flavours, scents and materials play a fundamental role in every environment: they modify bodily reactions, improve perceptions, evaluations and behaviour.

Through the dialogue between the various senses, we enable greater involvement and thus better knowledge of the environment, facilitating the satisfaction of essential needs, promoting accessibility, inclusion and health.

By placing end-users at the core of our design thinking, we are developing synaesthetic Design to create stimulating ‘healthy’ environments (environmental eustress), according to individual preferences (appraisal) and beyond merely technical and executive parameters.

We want to create places that are increasingly tailored to potential users, with the main objective of improving their perception of themselves and the world around them, with a consequent increase in well-being and quality of life. A theme, the latter, to which we are particularly attached, considering it the cornerstone of ‘conscious Design’.

In fact, the concept of Health Design has decisively initiated a third phase of architecture: after energy and comfort, health.

This is why we design living and working spaces that go beyond mere functional, technical, physiological aspects, embracing a more holistic vision of architecture.

We will continue to talk about this in our next post, in which we will tell you about some of our other innovative projects in the pipeline in the field of Health Design.

The world’s first metaverse promoting Made in Italy Design and Green Technology certified via Blockchain

The world's first metaverse promoting Made in Italy Design and Green Technology certified via Blockchain

We are proud and happy to make you part of an important project, in which we are investing our best energies and skills.

We believe that what we are realising can bring a decisive impulse to the world of architecture.

By going beyond the mere creation of a product, we are opening up the frontiers of an as yet unexplored sector of the real estate market with great opportunities.

This is a disruptive project in its innovative capacity.

We chose to announce it at the end of February at the Blockchain Life 2023 Forum in Dubai, one of the most important forums on blockchain, cryptocurrency and mining in the world.

In front of an international audience, we presented our Zepverse, the first and only metaverse in the world that promotes Made in Italy Design and Green Technology certified via Blockchain.

The potential of the real estate market in the metaverse is extraordinary and we believe that the future of real estate is played out in this new area of development.

Growth scenarios that were unthinkable even just a few years ago are on the horizon.

920 billion dollars is the value of the luxury real estate market worldwide.

NFTs, or non-fungible tokens used to buy and sell in the metaverse, have entered the real estate sector, yet luxury real estate has remained outside the digital market.

This is mainly because the NFTs currently on the market certify the ownership but not the quality of the property.
The investor would then have to buy it, perhaps from the other side of the world, without any guarantee on construction processes and technologies, materials used, exclusivity of design, environmental impact and sustainability. But this is not possible for the luxury real estate market, which is bound by the quality label.

We are the first and only company whose NFTs certify not only the Property but also the Quality of the real estate investment, guaranteeing Green Technology and exclusive Made in Italy Design.

Sustainability is certified by ESG protocols and quality is guaranteed thanks to the blockchain that certifies the entire process from design to construction completion, guaranteeing the most advanced technologies and 100% sustainable materials.

For the end customer this means being able to count on a Quality, Agile, Safe and Sustainable real estate investment, i.e. an investment that can guarantee a 300% ROI over time.

By designing, building and tokenizing eco-sustainable luxury real estate, we are opening up a market that no one else has been able to enter so far and that is estimated to reach 10 million profit in three years.

On stage at Blockchain Life 2023 the co-founder of Zeprojects, Engineer and Architect Silvia Motori, made a pitch to introduce Zepverse, the leader in Innovation, Quality and Sustainability.

Features and potential of Zepverse

Through Zepverse we are bringing the most cutting-edge digital innovations to the world of architecture to certify the sustainability and quality of Made in Italy Design.

Zepverse is the metaverse of Zeprojects in which you can:

1) Enter and select the property of your interest;

2) Have an immersive experience of the property thanks to augmented reality;

3) Buy the property using NFT. This allows a safe, easy, quick investment, without intermediaries and with irrefutable proof of the property acquired, with a smart contract perfected with the blockchain ecosystem;

4) Personalise the property before completion;

5) Obtain Duo Diligence and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Sustainability Certifications, which guarantee the security and eco-friendly nature of the investment;

6) Acquire the Made in Italy Design Quality Certification, the guarantee of 100% sustainable technologies and materials and the quality of the entire process from design to completion of the property.

Zepverse thus opens up an important new frontier in the property market and relaunches the creative process in architecture with the unique winning combination of Digital Innovation and Quality Certification.

If you want to be part of the change and find out how to invest with us, write to us, we will be happy to discuss it with you .

Projects and New Horizons for Zeprojects

Projects and New Horizons for Zeprojects

Architecture, like any other expression and creative skill, is affected by what is happening in the world and in the depths of mankind, and for this reason it enacts innovations and transformations that are sometimes radical in order to design and build spaces that are increasingly functional to our lifestyles, needs, perspectives, dreams and ambitions.
Crucial are epochs and moments of transition, like the one we are experiencing now, as we enter a new cycle yet to be discovered, designed, invented, interpreted. In ancient traditions, these transitional phases had a symbolic, ritual and magical significance, as they marked important stages and changes comparable to initiation rites in the cycle of life.

At the dawn of the newborn 2023, we have chosen to tell you what has marked our history and our past year in terms of ideas, research and projects realized so far, and to anticipate how we are planning our new making of architecture, always keeping in mind, as Frank Lloyd Wright used to say, that the architect must be the original interpreter of his time, of his epoch, of his instant.

This was our intention when we chose to give body and soul to Zeprojects, wanting to create, transform, embellish spaces to accommodate the needs and aspirations of those who live in them, with the person at the centre, the fulcrum and metre of our construction.
We are working to realize a dream: to interpret the new humanism in architecture, combining creativity, functionality and aesthetic sense to improve people’s lives, and using the most original and innovative digital tools for this purpose.

When we started Zeprojects in 2019 with these assumptions, with our experience gained in almost 20 years of work in Italy and abroad, the world was experiencing the consolidation and evolution of some disruptive technologies that were beginning to make a difference in the main sectors of society.
The introduction of new and increasingly developed applications of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things were indeed enabling greater levels of customization, precision and reliability of services, but the world of architectural design was still a step behind these innovations.
With Zeprojects we then wanted to help realize the vision of a new architecture, which could also include and implement these cutting-edge skills, combining creativity and technological potential, culture, environmental ethics and sustainability.

We initially dedicated ourselves mainly to the Hospitality, Ho.Re.Ca., Retail, Tourism and Wellness sectors, but in 2020, with the advent of the pandemic, we had to broaden our horizons, as the restrictions and measures taken to counter the spread of the virus had rendered these sectors forcibly inactive.
As the world changed abruptly, we therefore tried to figure out how to employ our architectural know-how and concepts to address the most pressing problems of the moment, especially in the health sector.
It was in this scenario and for this purpose that we conceived the Zep, Zero Epidemic Point. It represented our concrete response to the Covid-19 emergency, which had put most of the healthcare facilities in the country in serious difficulty.

The Zep was the first antibacterial and eco-sustainable meta-temporal module, equipped with safe biological corridors to safeguard patients and staff, which can be used in support of hospital facilities, or placed as a neighbourhood urban health centre to offer a direct service to citizens.
A great success in the media as well, the Zep was also presented and well reviewed by newspapers such as Il Sole 24 Ore and Il Resto del Carlino.
Due to its unique features on the market, it was selected by the Irccs, the Romagna Institute for the Study of Tumours, to form the first safe antibacterial triage for cancer patients in Forlì. This complex, which was initially intended to be half-temporal, has become fixed and is now an integral part of the hospital, representing an important aid and strength.

Following this line, last year we then developed another pioneering project in the healthcare sector: a 3000 square metre state-of-the-art facility of the post-Covid era in the Emilian Apennines.
This is a new-generation nursing home that we believe embodies the necessary and no longer postponable shift in the healthcare paradigm.
Designed to meet post-pandemic needs, it is characterized by a hitherto unprecedented functional multiplicity, with maximum attention given to the safety and healthiness of the environment.

The project combines sustainable architecture and cutting-edge technology to offer users a social and health service of excellence, also contributing to the enhancement of the area.
Consisting of four large blocks joined by a central pavilion, it will house 75 beds dedicated to psychiatric patients and autonomous or semi-autonomous elderly users.
Guests will be able to benefit from a skillful articulation of spaces responding to the needs of the various categories of users, within a structure designed in interpenetration and symbiosis with the environment, with internal and external green paths.

Multi-functionality is always guaranteed through the Zep, which allows ease of assembly and reversibility as needed, while maintaining the stability and comfort typical of traditional construction.
We planned to combine it with IoT and AI (Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence) technologies, which will make the facility an advanced centre for telemedicine or remote medicine as well, for support that can be extended to the entire local population.

And so we come to today. We wanted to tell you a bit about our history and our projects, what has driven us to always seek something innovative and unique… but what do we now have in the pipeline for 2023?

In this new year, we want to build on the experience and skills we have acquired for the further development of the Hospitality and Residential, Ho.Re.Ca., Retail, Tourism, Sport and Wellness sectors.

In conjunction with the imminent opening of our new headquarters on the Romagna Riviera, we will also work on the redevelopment of tourist areas, which are often populated by obsolete accommodation buildings: if they are reinvented and modernized, they will be able to attract a large flow of visitors from both Italy and abroad.

We are studying various solutions for the enhancement of environments dedicated to hospitality, wellness & leisure, also in combination with business areas, considering the progressive increase in agile work, or rehabilitation, prevention and healthcare services. Indeed, we believe that hybrid and multifunctional structures represent one of the key themes of the new way of doing architecture, in response to changing habits and lifestyles.
We are also working to implement the formidable resources offered to us on several fronts by Augmented Reality and the Metaverse, which can exponentially expand the opportunities for development and revitalization of any type of structure and sector.
With a vast spectrum of applications, these tools represent the new frontier of technological innovation, so that companies or entrepreneurs who know how to use them in the best possible way will be able to stay ahead of the market, giving real added value to the services they offer their users.

In our vision, the most avant-garde technological innovation can in fact also be used in architectural design, virtual architecture, to better meet people’s needs, expand their proactive capacity to interact with environments, and help the production of quality services and goods.

In this perspective, an aspect that we consider particularly important for its social value is, for example, that of overcoming architectural barriers, precisely through the aid of digital technology.
To give you a foretaste of some of the projects we are working on: as Zeprojects, we will make available the possibility of exploring an accommodation facility even before you book your stay, walking through it and experiencing it from the inside as if you were physically there.
In this way, in addition to increasing its value on a commercial level, we will be able to expand the experience of universal design, a design for all, increasingly accessible to all. By means of virtual tours, we will also allow those with motor deficits to visit the location in advance, agree on possible adaptations of space and furnishings, and view and preview the equipment available.
We will use the Metaverse to allow immersive experiences of great multisensory impact, making the facilities more functional and inclusive, with increasingly creative and original applications that we will continue to tell you about in future posts.

Innovative solutions for the hospitality sector

Innovative solutions for the hospitality sector

We continue the discussion on the topic of architecture for the hospitality sector by telling you about some of our ideas, proposals and concrete initiatives in this area.

Keys to success in the hospitality sector

Entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry are very clear that the sector is undergoing a profound transformation.

Traditional offerings have in fact been largely surpassed, but not everyone has perhaps clearly identified the crucial turning points toward which to direct new development models so that they can best meet current market needs.

Synergy

Elements such as cutting-edge architecture, refined and innovative design and technological infrastructure have become decisive, but not when taken in isolation, and this is what we believe is most relevant, but in their combination with other equally decisive factors: energy efficiency, eco-sustainability, and healthy living.

Today, success is in the hands of those who consider and implement this spectrum of components in their co-presence and synergy that reinforce and strengthen each element of the whole, creating structures of a unique quality in the world of the tourist accommodation industry, in Italy and abroad.

The various architectural proposals and solutions we offer in the field of hospitality are all characterized by the organic nature of this vision.
We are in fact deepening research and experimentation activities, continuing to invest our resources in this composite direction.

All this corresponds to the polyvalence of our mission: to realize an innovative and cutting-edge architecture concept in the technological field, and that at the same time designs and builds values, therefore that is human centered, at the service of the quality of life of the people who will inhabit those spaces co-created in symbiosis with the natural environment that surrounds them.

Flexibility

Redesigning spaces to make them hybrid and flexible we believe is another great strength for the hotel industry.

In addition to making the best use of available areas, you will be able to increase the range of facilities and services, generate interaction and coexistence among guests, and create different kinds of recreational and even working atmospheres.

In fact, we keep in mind that with the gradual increase of smart working, it will become increasingly common to work while vacationing on the Riviera, in the mountains, or in some art city.

Also considering these aspects, we have designed our meta-temporary prefabs specifically designed for the hospitality sector, the Zep.

Integrating as needed with pre-existing structures, they guarantee fast construction times, extraordinary ease of assembly, modulation and customization of space and design, while ensuring the stability and durability of traditional construction.

Sustainability and contact with nature

Designing environmentally sustainable spaces not only responds to a trend or fashion of conscious tourism, but also represents an unavoidable vital necessity.

With this in mind, so-called biophilic design, which integrates natural elements into interior decoration, creating healthier and more livable environments, is spreading rapidly in architecture.

In the case of hotels, this trend could also include natural lighting and ventilation techniques, using organic building materials and incorporating glimpses of vegetation, natural views or waterfalls that are either part of the building’s architecture or naturally occurring.

The opening of a new location dedicated to the hospitality sector.

In order to effectively implement these and other proposals and to be more present and close to interested users, we have decided to open a new office dedicated ad hoc to the hospitality sector.

It will be in the Romagna Riviera, in Lido di Savio, a stone’s throw from the lively Milano Marittima and not far from the Unesco city of Ravenna.

The office will be especially aimed at all entrepreneurs, national and international, interested in investing in the hospitality tourism sector.
These will be able to differentiate themselves in the market by taking advantage of the new concept of cutting-edge tourism in which we believe and which together we can realize.

Going then into the specifics of the place that hosts us, it is clear that tourism in Romagna also urgently needs a new model of development.

In this perspective, being on the territory and knowing it in depth, we are also ready to offer a consulting service for the selection of locations and possible innovative designs.

Thrilled to expand our services in this way, with today officially begins the countdown to the opening of the new offices that we are finalizing and on which we will keep you updated.

Designing the new Hospitality

Designing the new Hospitality

The world of hospitality needs innovation and foresight, which are crucial for the relaunch of this sector in a society that has changed its face in little more than two years.

Innovation is the key to relaunching the hospitality sector

Innovation becomes a concrete value, profitably spendable, to the extent that it grasps and anticipates the spirit of the age, and makes itself functional to the prospects, needs (and even dreams) of the users it addresses.

What are we implementing in this perspective?

New trends in the hospitality sector

Let’s take stock of hospitality and the new trends of this sector. Increased customer awareness regarding sustainability, health and personal wellbeing is giving rise to the new focal points for hospitality businesses.

The undisputed trend of recent years, which is increasingly becoming a major factor in consumers choice and continues to be a factor of growth in all sectors, is the theme of personal wellness and health.

In addition to the pre-packaged standards of beauty and relaxation offered by Spa hotels, there is great growth in demand for health diagnostic technologies and tailor-made treatment plans.

There is a growing interest in preventive medicine and self-care in an integral sense, on the physical, psychological and spiritual level.

New travellers are seeking holiday resorts with such treatments to develop vitality, healing processes, stress management, emotional balance, mindfulness practice and sleep quality.

In the redevelopment and conversion of existing spaces, as well as in the conception of new state-of-the-art facilities, we started from this holistic conception of the very idea of travel and holidays, and from the new concepts of hospitality in relation to evolving lifestyles.

We do this with 100% eco-sustainable architectural design, both in terms of the materials and construction techniques used, and in terms of aesthetics and energy performance.

An architecture that respects and protects the environment, and which is at the same time “human centred”, functional to the well-being of those who live and use those spaces.

The future will be in fact healthy living, which is why we are also turning design into a therapeutic tool.

The architect today cannot limit himself to being the one who designs spaces and furnishings, but we believe he must be part of a team that cooperates to design people’s well-being.

We go beyond old patterns and pioneer humanism in architecture.

To do this we start from what for us represents the basis: the careful research and selection of materials, techniques and methods of processing and use to interpret their characteristics and bring out their peculiarities.

Every material has its own poetry.

We try to translate it into works of architecture and design to make spaces speak and put them at the service of those who inhabit them, making them harmonious, healthy, functional and refined at the same time. We play with imagination, creativity, inspiration and a sensitivity tested over years of work in the field, at the boundaries of experimentation, with an eye always turned to the future.

Healthy Building: innovative materials and techniques for sustainable architecture

We work continuously on the search for innovative techniques and ecosustainable materials, in line with current accommodation requirements, both from the functional and structural point of view.

Natural materials allow us to create unique atmospheres, “living” architectural organisms, because they are able to breathe with the people. Whoever enters these spaces experiences a connection with the ecosystem, thanks to a design in dialogue and interpenetration with the external environment, and in the complete absence of chemical substances harmful to man and his habitat.

The careful choice of materials and their original ways of use combine to create a multi-sensory experience, the one that today’s travellers seek most. Their desire is not just to take a trip, but to get in touch with the soul of places, to immerse themselves in an experiential stay.

We continue our experimentation with building materials by also participating in international architectural competitions exploring their potential uses, versatility and ductility.

We recently designed a temporary, multifunctional wooden pavilion inspired by naval architecture. We have re-proposed the image of a sailing ship with which travellers can sail the seas and explore new continents, experience new perceptions.

The soft, sinuous soffit recalls the sails that move and swell with the wind.

The sailing ship allows a journey in the name of multi-sensoriality:

– touch is stimulated through the tapered shapes that can be caressed
– the sense of smell is awakened by the intense fragrance of the finest wood
– the eyes follow the continuous play of light that the wood allows to filter through

Whoever enters inside also opens up to the outside world: he listens to the sounds of nature surrounding the structure, hears the voice of the wind penetrating, comes into contact with the element wood in its natural environment.

In a space that is both closed and open at the same time, the inside magically meets the outside, and perception is broadened.

What makes the difference are designs with materials that allow for multilevel experiences. Those capable of surprising, welcoming and embrace. Again with regard to the choice of materials, another aspect that we have paid particular attention to in the hospitality sector are the new furnishing and sanitising solutions for interior spaces.

The objective is to simultaneously guarantee maximum interior comfort, the biological safety of the rooms and total integration with the surrounding nature.

This is why we have developed, first for the sanitary sector and then also for the hospitality sector, meta-temporary prefabs: the Zep.

Produced with 100% ecological and antibacterial materials and equipped with a line of equally antibacterial, hypoallergenic and Covid-free objects and furnishings, they combine sustainable architecture with state-of-the-art technology, with extraordinary ease of assembly while guaranteeing the stability and durability of traditional construction.

Zeprojects wants to bring innovation and design to the service of the individual, with attention to the functional needs that have been increasingly felt in recent years.

Through our projects we want to make the customer’s experience unique and impactful, so that it remains etched in the memory and can be transferred to others, amplifying its value over time.

In the next article we will tell you more about our hospitality Zep, showing you some structures we have already realized.

We invite you to contact us to study tailor-made designs and open up new horizons together.

The new frontiers of Metaverso in the retail and
hospitality sectors

The new frontiers of Metaverso in the retail and hospitality sectors

The world of the web (and not only) goes crazy over the trend of the moment, the metaverse. How many of you have been intrigued by it or perhaps thought of investing in it with your own business? Is it as much gold as it glitters or a ‘second’ Second Life?
Well, here is a short article in which we share our thoughts on the subject, talking about issues and real opportunities.

Metaverse, what is it?

Let us start by defining it, even though it is not easy to do so in a precise manner, because it is a new world, still to be explored.
However, we can say that the term was coined in the cyberpunk world in 1992 and has now come into the limelight because it has recently been used by Facebook (‘Meta’ is in fact the new company name).

The Metaverse is the evolution and enhancement of the Net, but does not replace it. It prefigures a set of virtual worlds that one can access exclusively, and where one is represented in three dimensions through one’s avatar. Through these virtual ‘representations’ we can move, travel and make purchases, just as in the real world, indeed faster. Statistical data in hand, today virtual reality constitutes a world in great expansion also on the Italian market, together with other technologies that are all closely interconnected, such as Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things.

The potential for application of Metaverso, even in the world of design and architecture, is truly remarkable, but equally impactful could be the latent risks if this technology is conceived and used as an end in itself. Let us now focus, first of all, on the potential we can develop with Metaverso, referring in particular to the areas of interest we have suggested. Next, we will deal with another fundamental aspect: understanding how latent risks can be defused.

Metaverso's application scenarios in the retail and hospitality sectors

Virtual reality can have applications in countless fields, from marketing to entertainment, from vocational training to the production process.
The most natural and potentially prolific expressions of Metaverso, however, are in the creative fields par excellence, such as architecture, art and design. With Metaverso we can integrate and enhance the use of real environments. We can make and sell digital objects and artwork using so-called non-fungible tokens, Nfts, a key component of Web3. Nfts are the newest innovation in the virtual world. They represent certificates attesting to the authenticity, uniqueness, unchangeability and intellectual property of digital works, which are thus recognised and protected for the first time. From then on, they are usable by all and potentially sellable indefinitely. This production will make Metaverso more and more populated and richer, allowing users to broaden their experience of architectural spaces and aesthetic subjects, which
can then be transferred to the real world.

In an accelerated process of osmosis and cross-cultural metabolism, Metaverso will not only allow prototypes to be created, but also allow them to be immediately socially tested on a large scale, much more effectively than any traditional type of survey. We are convinced that sectors that today are in particular need of innovation and revitalisation, such as the retail and hospitality sectors, can be increasingly known,
enriched and enhanced precisely through virtual experiences.

How? The key to success lies in the interconnection between the real and virtual worlds, like a bridge that crosses and unites these two worlds. The metaverse for an entrepreneur can therefore represent a major growth opportunity for his or her business, in particular for:
1. Modify or integrate their business model. Imagine, for example, combining specific Nft of services with classic holiday packages, so as to make them more interesting, attractive and innovative.
2. Making one’s activity known nationally and internationally. So that even a small, remote location can benefit from a wide audience to whom it can show its riches. Also with Metaverso, visits to museums and art galleries, participation in cultural meetings and concerts, and much more could be made feasible, to the boundaries of the imaginable, making unpredictable discoveries and fascinating experiences.

3. Implementing the services offered through the so-called gamification. To mention just one of the many feasible ideas in this field, tokens could be produced with multi-sensory experiences, funny and educative for both adults and children

Defusing latent risks

We have thus spoken of the potential of Metaverso, but it is also the case of counting latent risks that, like any innovation, it brings with it.
Which ones in particular are we referring to? The number one risk is surely that of exalting a container without content, or with
poor content. In fact, technology is but one way of conveying valuable content, and it should not be understood as an end in itself. Because technology without a soul is arid and dangerous and produces mere automation.

Another concrete risk can be summed up in the word alienation. We defuse it if we use Metaverso to acquire additional information about the reality around us and not replacing it with artificiality. Operating in this perspective, the virtual dimension will not exhaust itself in a
schizophrenic parallel world, but will serve to come into greater contact with the reality around us, with constructions, design, with all that is beautiful and functional that we can create. It will thus be able to give greater voice to human, architectural and artistic sensitivity, enriching life with concreteness and intensity. This is, in our opinion, the antidote against the risk of latent alienation and poor quality of the proposed content.

Combining technology and humanism in architecture

The virtual world and the real world, the map and the territory, overlap to the point of combining, or even becoming one extension of the other.
To give an example: we enter a hotel in the Metaverse and buy a sauna and wellness package that we then experience in a real hotel. Or: we are in a hotel and from there we connect to a virtual art gallery, where we buy works that we then take home to
decorate the spaces we inhabit. Thus, the Noosphere described by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, or that ‘sphere of human thought’ that sustains physical reality and moves around a unifying centre, almost seems to manifest itself in virtual reality, if it’s used in the perspective we
have just mentioned.

An enlightened entrepreneur will be the one who operates ethically, developing his or her work in accordance with the unifying centre of people’s souls. True digital innovation, and not only this, will happen when technology will be in complete accordance with ethics, ecology and sustainability, avoiding alienation and homologation. We dream of a digital transformation that is combined with an empathetic and wise
society, and where inclusive and human-centric paradigms are adopted at every level. Thus we will see the spirit rise and fly lightly in the ether, that boundless space where we breathe, create and let life flow.

A new project combining eco- sustainability and hi-tech

A new project combining eco- sustainability and hi-tech

Is it possible to combine eco-sustainability and technological innovation?
We believe so, provided that technology is not conceived as an end in itself, but rather as a service to people and their well-being. With this in mind, we are very keen on the new project we are developing in the socio-medical field, a sector that has been particularly affected by the pandemic and therefore needs more help and support, especially at this time.

The development of the first total green multifunctional social health facility

The structure will be built in the Apennines in Emilia (the exact location will be announced shortly). We are very attached to this project, because we hope it will be a model to be spread and replicated to promote the new frontier of “Green Hospitals”. It will be an avant-garde structure in Italy, because it will combine bio-architecture, respect for the environment and sustainability with the most advanced technologies, both in the building and health sectors.
The aim is to build a place of care that can be super-efficient and at the same time on a human scale, in a structure in the green that vibrates in harmony with the beauty of the surrounding environment and helps to enhance it.

For the enhancement of the area, in support of the local community

The structure is meant to fill the gaps in a mountainous area lacking adequate facilities, that is essential medical assistance and related services. In this way, we hope to contribute to the protection and repopulation of rural mountain areas, which are at the moment inhabited mainly by the elderly and therefore risk succumbing to increasing urbanisation. In order to safeguard the landscape environment in which it will be located and to ensure beauty and wellbeing, we have designed the building having in mind a symbiotic relationship between man and
nature. Another feature of the project, which also makes it unprecedented in its field, will be its multifunctionality, in order to meet the diversified social and health needs of the area and local community.

The richness of multifunctionality in a total green structure

The facility will house 75 beds, which will be dedicated to psychiatric patients and elderly users, independent or semi-autonomous. We have studied a careful articulation of spaces to meet the different needs of the various categories of users, within a building that will live in interpenetration with the surrounding landscape, with internal and external green paths. The connection between the central nucleus and the 4 large pavilions that make up the structure, will be through “filter areas” that will allow healthy and safe environments. In order to optimise the available space and environments, the basement of the structure will be reserved for all the services supporting users and medical staff. It will also be able to assist the local population and civil protection in case of emergency conditions. Inspired by the principles of meta-design, the building will have a multifunctional use, allowing for maximum flexibility and resilience.

The multifunctionality will be achieved through Zep, the Zero Epidemic Point  , the first 100% ecological, antibacterial and metatemporary sanitary prefabricated building, which we designed to cope with the pandemic crisis and which has already been applied with excellent
results. With only natural materials, all of Italian origin and 100% recyclable, Zep guarantees ease of assembly and reversibility according to need, while maintaining the stability and comfort typical of traditional construction.
It also makes use of the most advanced technologies, thus combining efficiency with safety, ecology and environmental sustainability.

The most advanced technologies at the service of the individual

The innovative character of the structure also lies in its prerogative to offer the local population a highly qualified social and health care service, through sophisticated technology placed at the service of the person. The individual will not be at the mercy of an artificial and alienating technology, but the technology will be used to serve the individual user and the community. In this perspective, telemedicine services will be used without risking dehumanisation, but only for the purpose of assisting people in emergency conditions, and in any case always to supplement and never replace the human doctor-patient relationship and direct assistance. The result is a technologically advanced project that goes against the trend of rampant transhumanism. With an ecological vision applied at all levels, not just a simple eco-sustainable operation on the surface, we can aim for certification in accordance with the highest international standards to obtain GREEN
Hospital status. The green revolution that we are promoting in the health sector is part of the global process of ecological reconversion that we are also pursuing in the residential and hospital sectors.

The emotion of living in nature

L'emozione di abitare la natura

Have you ever imagined yourself on a houseboat in the middle of unspoilt nature?
It is one of the most beautiful experiences you can have in life!

What if this houseboat is built from 100% natural materials, according to the strictest criteria of Bio- architecture, and at the same time has nothing to envy to the most luxurious hotel suites.

The Zepoint tourist, the world’s first prefabricated meta-temporary, ecological and antibacterial structure, which can be positioned directly on the ground, anchored to piles or floating on water, could revolutionise the world of hospitality and the concept of tourism.
So that it can become increasingly innovative, totally ecological and sustainable.

Imagine you are in a delightful houseboat. You are in a tropical paradise, in one of its most isolated and virgin stretches.
You are above crystal clear turquoise waters, whose waves gently lap your resort.
Below you a thriving coral reef. Around you, soft white beaches.
On the floor there are windows from which you can admire the flora and fauna below the water level.
You are immersed in nature as you may never have been before in your life, but at the same time you have the best comforts you would find in a luxury hotel. Large windows let in all the beauty that explodes outside. The view from the bed shows the calm, blue ocean stretching as far as the eye can see. You never tire of contemplating this landscape, even if you look at it over and over for days.
A short flight of steps outside the door leads to a solarium at the water’s edge, where you love to spend time with your partner and children, eat meals in the open air and plan exploratory trips together to penetrate the surrounding nature reserve.

You are having one of the most beautiful and exciting experiences of your life!
It’s an amazing alternative travel idea for people like you, who are tired of staying in the usual hotels or holiday homes. Your resort is built from wood, cork and other completely natural materials. Inside you breathe in the fragrance of those woods and cork trees, which mingles with that of the surrounding vegetation. Time is marked by the cries of the herons, while you enjoy watching the flight of the fish eagles.
At night you sleep lulled by the waves, in a very pleasant romantic atmosphere. You are experiencing a strong emotion.
It is the emotion of living in nature. And living in nature means regenerating yourself, recreating your body and spirit. As in your remote dreams, more and more people all over the world, tired of the usual standardised holiday packages, are looking for adventure and freedom. They are in search of an original and unique holiday experience.
• Nature
• Comfort
• Ecology
• Safety

That’s why we thought of Zepoint tourist, to make the dream easily achievable, in a totally eco-friendly way.
It is creativity at the service of the Green Revolution.

Aparthotel: the new frontier of tourism

Aparthotel: the new frontier of tourism

Tourism is one of the sectors most affected by the pandemic. Hotels and tourist accommodations, even those of medium-high level, are struggling to survive. Yet, if we raise our eyes, even from this crisis we can see a new opportunity arise.

We propose two key themes to turn this crisis into opportunity: Reconversion and Requalification.
We believe, in fact, that the reconversion and requalification of hotel structures represent an essential tool to keep up with the pandemic and post-pandemic scenario, that is to satisfy the new orientation and emerging needs of users, creating the conditions to return to the market with profit. So vision, dynamism, innovation to become pioneering entrepreneurs of a new culture and experience of tourism, offering a higher quality of life.

Requalification generates value

Tourism strongly needs to be rethought in a more sustainable way: from an energetic-environmental, economic and social point of view.
Health and safety are now essential requirements, as well as limited crowding and a better distribution of premises and people, who are increasingly inclined towards green structures with maximum comfort.
Another important aspect is the offering of spaces, services and commercial formulas that guarantee maximum flexibility to customers, with personalized accomodation packages.
An integrated approach to requalification is winning: with low environmental impact design, innovative and sophisticated solutions and cutting-edge technological innovations (IoT and AI), rigorously put at the service of man.

Conversion into aparthotels

In order to give a new impulse to hotel structures, responding to the orientation of users and placing the well-being of the person increasingly at the center, we propose conversion into aparthotels.
In recent years, this form of hospitality has taken hold, and is set to intrinsically change the hospitality sector.
The word, as we know, is made up of the semantic combination of the terms “apartment” and “hotel”.
An aparthotel is a flat with the services of a hotel, thus combining the advantages of both.
In this type of accommodation, the guest enjoys the comfort and well-being of a real home and has considerable cost savings, for example being autonomous in the preparation of meals.
We offer our expertise to renew the hospitality sector through this advantageous accommodation option:

– Reducing fixed costs and maximising profits
– Creation of customized offerings and services based on the target audience
– Strengthening of competitive capacity
– Greater compliance with anti-covid standards
– Use of the Superbonus 110 for accommodation and hotels

We like to imagine ourselves as a spaceship that allows you to reach the furthest realms of your imagination, until you throw your heart over the obstacle. In this spirit, we are at your side to accompany and support you in the journey from crisis to opportunity.
In the next posts we will tell you how the hospitality sector can be developed through Zep Tourist ecological prefabs and the new frontiers of digital technologies (Metaverso and Nft) applied to the world of tourism.
