Hospitality

SMART HOTEL

Covid-19, as we all know, has strongly affected the hospitality sector, both in Italy and internationally. For all practical purposes travel restrictions and the closure of restaurants and museums, have prevented most people from traveling, whether they liked it or not. Regrettably, many businesses will not be able to survive this tragic tsunami, but we can predict that from 2022 we will begin to see signs of recovery in the sector. On the other hand, we are also aware of how the context has inevitably changed – and because of this, it will be necessary to upgrade the quality of accommodation facilities. We know that the new trending needs of people when they will start traveling again will pertain to the quality of service, to the experience offered, and to health safety. Presumably, in our urban centers, we will see the rise of small boutique hotels, with excellent service levels and custom luxury furnishings. Some hybrid forms of hospitality options will also have a competitive edge, including widespread hotels in private apartments for example. The renewed interest in health, air quality, and the need to achieve a balance with the environment will probably play in favor of local tourism, to rediscover ancient towns or villages immersed in natural areas. We will see an increase in bike hotels or facilities aimed at sports and outdoor enthusiasts in general. On the other hand, hotel chains aimed primarily at the business sector will probably have to change their model.

We have thought of 3 types of structures for you: ZEPground, positioned directly on the ground, ZEPalafitta anchored with piles to the ground and ZEPboat floating on the water. We have also conceived 3 different types of layouts of one and two-room apartments, which can be combined with each other and thus create any type of square footage you need, even a majestic villa with swimming pool.

The user experience will be all the more engaging, the more it is attentive to the well-being of the guests and emotionally exciting

It doesn't matter which type of hotel you are referring to, the winning card is being prepared, innovating quickly and being interconnected. The usability of these structures will probably be organized in such a way as to attract different target groups of people and offer them different services according to their needs. The spaces dedicated to psychophysical well-being will deserve greater importance. It will be necessary to have greater focus on the health safety of the structures, on air control and hygiene in all environments. Attention to the relationship with nature will also manifest itself in the choice of interior materials, favoring natural or otherwise eco-sustainable materials.

We can further enhance the customer experience by working with IoT (Internet of Things) technology, with AI (Artificial Intelligence), and with ML (Machine Learning), which will enable us to gain a deeper understanding of the guest, and to provide a bespoke experience. Technology also helps us achieve optimized energy consumption management to reduce operating costs, provide a higher quality service, and ensure better health safety in the facilities. All thanks to artificial intelligence.

Natural materials such as wood, cork, hay, hemp, and coconut can create unique atmospheres capable of boosting people’s perception of well-being. new concept of architecture

The user experience will be all the more engaging, the more it is attentive to the well-being of the guests and emotionally exciting. The environments of the rooms will be designed in order to facilitate rest, regeneration, relaxation, through the project the study of spaces, of the colors of sensory stimulation. In fact, there is a correlation between the surrounding environment and the individuals who live it, the central nervous system decodes external stimuli, such as sounds and colors, then transmitting the impulses to the rest of the body. A hotel room can make a difference in the quality of guests’ stay, it can arouse emotions or evoke memories. Our design is attentive to the emotional involvement of people through the environment. A holistic design, in which aspects of a compositional nature are combined with evaluations of a neuroscientific type. Thanks to our “method” in dealing with the project, we create unique environments that go beyond design towards a new concept of architecture.
